The ICAN Cities Appeal was endorsed by Ballina Shire Council on 22 August, 2019.

STATEMENT

We wish to advise that at Ballina Shire Council’s Ordinary meeting held on 22 August 2019, it was resolved as follows:

That Council support the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

Please note our support of this Treaty and continued commitment to the promotion of peace
and the abolition of nuclear weapons.
